Suggested project & deliverables

Kiseki  Limited seeks support from the S-Bize program in strengthening bottle collection from communities. This will boost the number of bottles available for reuse or conversion, thereby increasing revenue. In turn, it will allow Kiseki to engage more disadvantaged community members, providing them with steady and dignified employment, while contributing to environmental conservation by reducing glass waste pollution.

The organization exists to transform waste into economic opportunity, fostering environmental stewardship, improving livelihoods, and promoting climate resilience. By focusing on education, skills development, and collaborative action, YouthPrinua advances equity and inclusivity, creating pathways for cleaner environments and shared prosperity. Its business model draws a significant 60% of its revenue from circular economy initiatives and is holistically aligned with multiple UN Sustainable Development Goals, including No Poverty (Goal 1), Clean Water and Sanitation (Goal 6), and Responsible Consumption and Production (Goal 12).

YouthPrinua project is centred on scaling their “Recycle for Water” initiative, which links waste management to clean water access in informal settlements. Through this model, YouthPrinua mobilizes youth to collect, sort, and recycle waste, creating jobs and generating revenue. This revenue is reinvested directly into clean water access points and community water projects, reducing pollution and improving health. The organization seeks support from the S-Bize program to scale this project and strengthen its business systems.

The organization seeks support through the S-Bize program to scale this proven financial literacy model, which integrates practical training on budgeting, savings, and debt management with direct access to DPAK Sacco’s safe, affordable financial services. This project is directly aimed at breaking the cycle of financial vulnerability and dependence on predatory lending, which currently traps this community. By expanding the reach of the “Money-Wise” program, DPAK Sacco aims to significantly increase savings uptake, improve household stability, and ultimately uplift one of the most financially excluded groups in Kenya and the Middle East.
